About the role

The role is focused on supporting customers of the business and the rest of the team at our headquarters. Key tasks are welcoming customers to our showroom, calling customers relating to various matters, preparing internal and external reports, support in recruitment, sending/receiving of mail, online chat handling, travel planning and much more. As this is a new role and the company is in dynamic change, a flexible approach to the role is essential – just like the company, the role is set to continuously change based on the needs.

Who are we looking for?

To succeed in this role several important traits are required:

Speed and a high stress threshold: When the workload is intense, it usually increases from multiple directions simultaneously. Many tasks are time critical and need to be quickly finalized. Being fast at typing, great at multitasking and a fast and curious learner are essential traits of the candidate we are looking for.

Strong work ethic: Many of the tasks related to this role are of crucial importance to the operation of the company – you are fully comfortable with walking the extra mile for the rest of the team and our customers, even when it is outside of your job description, and you have a genuine interest in and dedication to the needs of the business.

Creativity: You will frequently receive tasks or questions that you don’t know the answers to and have to figure out on the spot. You are comfortable with this and see it as an opportunity to educate yourself.

Independence: While there are usually others to ask, everyone in the business has an intense workload – you enjoy figuring out the right way to perform on a task on your own and taking control over the road from start to finish.

Thoroughness: In our industry where everything is built on SKU numbers and dimensions in inches, one wrong number is equally bad as all numbers being wrong. A spelling error or the wrong wording can destroy a great conversation with a customer. You realize that you always represent the company and its brand and you are a wordsmith and proud of it.

Of course, you are well versed in the basics of the MS Office suite. You are fluent in English in speech and writing.
