Job Description
Technical Support Representative position focuses on solving customer inquiries associated to our fuel pump, fuel transfer and access control fuel management equipment received by phone and email. This position also includes processing claims and evaluating products for warranty replacement and return to stock. Coordination with other departments is a common day-to-day activity. The job includes duties as Secondary Warranty and Return Coordinator(s).
The applicant will be expected to work Monday through Friday 8 : 30am to 5 : 00pm. Overtime may be available. Acceptable dress is business casual. Applicant must have a reliable source of transportation to and from work. Additional company information will be provided during the interview.
French or Spanish as a second language is ideal.
Essential Functions
- Applies electrical, hydraulic and mechanical principles and techniques to analyze customers hardware or software support request.
- Use of troubleshooting techniques, problem solving and multitasking to facilitate case solutions.
- Partners with the customers’ IT support personnel in resolution of issues.
- Log all calls and customer requests, in our case tracking software.
- Processes Warranty Claim and Product Return.
- Tests, modifies and trains other employees regarding newly developed products.
- Participates, as required, in the manufacturer’s training of newly developed products.
