Summary/Objective
The Shipping/Inventory Administrator position is responsible for receiving, shipping, and other administrative duties, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all job functions.
Essential Functions
- Assisting in shipping and receiving material in the system.
- Resolves any issues on our deliveries related to shipping of the material
- Reviews various shipping reports to clear up open issues that are still outstanding
- Distributing items to shipping or other designated areas for route drivers
- Ensuring the warehouse is accessible and safe for salespeople and customer traffic
- Process work order tickets for items we are assembling
- Marking materials with identifying information using assigned methods
- Logging materials received or distributed
- Assisting in counting of physical inventory
- Maintaining the warehouse facilities to ensure cleanliness
- Performing additional assignments per supervisor’s direction
- Assist with over, short, or damaged material received in our warehouse
- Organizes vendor pickups requested from expeditors or the sales team
- Prints all MT’s and DT’s sent by sales team

Supervisory Responsibility
The Shipping/Inventory Administrator position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
Working conditions
Work Environment
This position works in a warehouse setting, with some outdoor exposure during the workday. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines, and standard warehouse equipment such as hand trucks, box cutters and tape dispensers.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee must regularly lift and/or move objects up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. The employee must work 40 hours each week to maintain full-time status.
Education and Experience
- One or more years of prior warehouse experience
- High School diploma required
Qualifications
