Position Summary
- Operate various tractor-trailer combinations for extended periods of time, over long distances between company/customer facilities in order to pick up, transport and deliver freight in a safe, timely and efficient manner
- Drop, hook, spot or otherwise interchange equipment for loading or unloading at various locations under varied conditions
- Driver unloads freight 80% or more of the time
- Carry out instructions given orally and in writing including those on manifests, bills of lading and other shipping documents to determine the location and time of delivery
- Conduct a thorough pre-trip inspection of the equipment
- Perform all duties in accordance with policies and procedures
- All loads leave between 7pm and 2am. Must be willing to do night driving and work weekends.
Essential Qualifications
- CDL-A License
- Minimum of one year of experience
- Clean Driving Record
- Able to legally cross the Canadian border
- Be available to work weekends
Requirements
- High school or equivalent preferred
- Commercial Driving Experience - Class A
- Valid Class A Commercial Driving License

- $26.23/hour and $0.62448/mile
