Job Overview:
Wholesale Tire, Inc. has been servicing WV, PA, VA, and MD since 1950. We sell tires and automotive parts to tire dealers, car lots, and repair shops. We currently have an opportunity for a Delivery Driver in our Clarksburg, WV facility. This individual may also be required to assist in the warehouse after delivery routes.
Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently transport goods to designated locations
- Load and unload cargo from delivery vehicles
- Operate a forklift to move heavy items as needed
- Follow delivery schedules and routes provided by the dispatcher
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks
- Communicate with customers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
- Complete delivery logs and other required documentation
Requirements:
- Valid Class D driver's license and medical card with a clean driving record
- Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or similar role
- Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles
- Strong knowledge of local roads and routes
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds)
- Excellent communication skills
