Road Service Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Road Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in equipment repair and maintenance, particularly with industrial machinery and automotive systems. This role requires a hands-on approach to diagnosing and resolving mechanical issues, ensuring that all equipment operates efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various types of industrial equipment.
• Conduct automotive diagnostics to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
• Align and adjust equipment as necessary to ensure optimal performance.
• Execute brake repair tasks with precision and attention to safety protocols.
• Transmit detailed reports of repairs and maintenance performed to management.
• Assist in heavy lifting and moving of equipment during repair processes.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety standards at all times.
• Collaborate with team members to improve service efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Road Service Technician or in a similar role within the automotive or industrial equipment sectors.
• Strong knowledge of equipment repair techniques, including but not limited to diesel engine repair, brake systems, and general diagnostics.
• Familiarity with safety regulations related to heavy machinery operation.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job duties.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and management.
