Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Delivery / Warehouse Worker to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring that our products are delivered efficiently and safely to our customers while also supporting warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills and have experience with various warehouse equipment. Full Time Delivery driver needed for wholesale wine and spirits distributor. Deliveries to Baton Rouge and Northshore and surrounding areas. Warehouse is located in Covington, LA. CDL not required. 7:00 a.m. start time. Dependability is a must. Knowledge of New Orleans area a plus. Must have a Good Driving record and background. Must be dependable and flexible with hours. Hours range from part-time to full-time. Also included in job description is warehouse organizing and inventory maintenance.

Duties

• Load and unload products from delivery vehicles, ensuring that items are handled with care.
• Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and box trucks to transport goods within the warehouse and during deliveries.
• Drive delivery routes in a timely manner, ensuring all deliveries are made according to schedule.
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any questions or concerns from clients.
• Maintain organization within the warehouse, including proper storage of products and cleanliness of the work area.
• Assist in inventory management by tracking incoming and outgoing shipments accurately.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and support overall warehouse operations.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a warehouse or delivery role is preferred.
• Proficiency in operating pallet jacks, forklifts, and box trucks is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
• Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks associated with moving products.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required for route driving responsibilities.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are essential for maintaining inventory accuracy.
• Flexibility to work various shifts as needed to meet operational demands.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
