As we expand, we are looking for a Staff Accountant to join our finance team and help maintain the integrity of our financial operations.Job SummaryWe are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Staff Accountant to support our accounting functions, ensure accurate financial reporting, and contribute to the overall efficiency of our finance department. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to grow with a dynamic company.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and account reconciliations.Maintain the general ledger by recording financial transactions, including journal entries and accruals.Categorize financial entries and ensure accurate data entry.Perform month-end and year-end closing processes.Reconcile accounts, including bank and credit card reconciliations, as well as balance sheet reconciliations.Manage and track Cost of Goods Sold (COGS)and ensure proper matching of purchase orders (POs).Insert POs and invoices into the accounting system.Ensure bookkeeping accuracy, maintaining financial records in compliance with company policies.Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to support financial operations and reporting.Qualifications & SkillsBachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required).Minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting or finance role (required).Proficiency in QuickBooks (required).Experience with account reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, and general ledger maintenance (required).Experience with month-end and year-end closing processes (required).Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, internationally growing company with evolving financial processes (required).Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and data analysis).Strong understanding of general accounting principles and financial reporting.Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Strong organizational and time-management skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.Experience in e-commerce or retail accounting is a plus.
