Wholestone Prestage is a producer-owned pork protein provider that hire exceptional people who love what they do. This is a very fast-paced environment that is constantly evolving and growing. Education, Licensure and Experience
- College degree preferred but not required.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 5-years sales experience.
- Some travel may occur throughout the year.
- High energy and enthusiastic.
- Ability to manage multiple, concurrent projects and initiatives.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle and prioritize multiple activities.
- Self-starter. Must ask questions and learn new skills quickly on the job.
- Driven, team player that is motivated to take responsibility.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines with short turnarounds in a fast-paced working environment.
- Extremely competent in Microsoft applications and comfortable with new software programs.
- Foreign language fluency preferred
- Based in either Fremont NE or Eagle Grove IA

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following (Please note: This in no way states or implies that these are the only duties you will be required to perform. - Manage an extensive portfolio of accounts to achieve long-term success
- Be extremely involved and engaged with customer visits
- Have an in-depth knowledge of specifications, programs and processes
- Liaison between customer and company departments
- Develop positive relationships with customers
- Act as the primary point of contact and handle customers’ individual needs
- Generate new business using existing and potential customer networks
- Grow and enhance existing business.
- Resolve conflicts and provide solutions to customers in a timely manner
- Work closely to monitor the status of accounts and transactions
- Set and track sales account targets, aligned with company objectives
- Monitor sales metrics (e.g., quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
- Be very engaged and involved with accounts to create actions to improve sales performance
- Ability to read, interpret and comprehend documents such as graphs, flow charts, financial reports, general professional articles and publications, governmental regulations, safety rules, assignment sheets and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, policies and procedures and other administrative forms.

Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the language of the majority cultural group in order to communicate effectively. Must be able to hear enough to understand those individuals as well.

Mathematical Skills
In order to perform duties, must be able to:
- Add, subtract, multiply, and divide all units of measure such as whole numbers, fractions, percentages, and fractions.
- Compute rate, discounts, ratios, and percent, and
- Make, read, and interpret financials, graphs, rates, ratios, and percentages.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense and judgment in solving problems and interpreting and understanding instructions furnished in written or oral form. Must be able to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action yet reason when to involve supervisor.
Computer Skills
Basic computer knowledge with the ability to learn software.

- Display strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize multiple tasks and deal with frequent interruptions.
- Basic office skills such as phone skills, voice mail, copying, faxing, typing, and directing visitors.
- Ability to function independently given assigned duties.
