About the role :
Title : Creator Partnerships Lead
Salary : $130,000 base, $190,000 OTE a competitive equity package
Unlimited PTO, Health, Vision, and Dental coverage

What does the role look like?
As a Creator Partnerships Lead at Whop, you will be responsible for growing the amount of processing volume (GMV) brought to Whop through securing strategic partners that refer creators to Whop. (These are : high-profile creators, performance agencies, and other industry contacts). In this role you will work closely with other Creator Partnerships Leads, and together, you will be responsible for getting everyone in the world referring creators to Whop.
You are expected to source leads (partners that can refer creators), and partner with them to refer all of their creators to Whop. We expect you to meet partners in person, run live presentations / webinars for their creators, attend industry-relevant events, build meaningful relationships with partners, and teach them how to onboard their creators to Whop self-service. You will be the front line of feedback and will be asked to triage product feedback (Both from partners and their creators) into the organization to improve product and marketing.
You'll be given different tools and resources to hit your targets. The resources you'll be given are a $20,000 quarterly budget to help with closing partners and running events, access to a team of VAs who can help with manual tasks, access to a Growth Engineer who can help automate new strategies, our full team of Account Managers who can keep partners creators happy, and the Whop Twitter account for outreach. You will also be given a list of creators & partners we are already targeting and new ones we wish to target.
Your first 90 days will look like the following :
- Within 30 days you will understand our product, how to source partners, how to get in contact with partners, how to close partners, have a clear understanding of our ICP and what we're selling them, and understand common pain points leads have. You will have also started reaching out to your list of leads and closing your first deal.
- Within 60 days, you will have hit 10% of your quota.
- Within 90 days, you will have hit 30% of your quota and be fully ramped up.
