PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:

Supports the organizations' priorities related to market and customer research and trade show preparation and execution.  Both an analytic and creative mindset are necessary.  Requires self-motivation, high energy, and curiosity to assist the organization in gathering market and customer intelligence and delivering events that build business relationships, generate excitement, grow sales, and amplify brand awareness. 

CORE FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION/CRITICAL ELEMENTS:

Marketing Analysis  

• Know our business, our customers, and our competitors: perform qualitative and quantitative market analysis to inform product and company decisions 
• Foster relationships (globally) with industry trade associations, editors, and magazine to optimize booth and brand positioning in the market space 
• Host monthly Industry/Competitor insight meetings for Commercial team to keep internal teams up to date on news, trends, new product releases, news, etc., of the industry and competitors alike 
• Conduct intelligence gathering – some of which may be gated or behind paywalls – to assist executive team with business decisions and positioning 

Trade Shows 

• From beginning to end, lead and project manage trade shows, industry events, and conferences to successfully collect marketing qualified leads. Examples of project management include coordinating sponsorships, booth setup, staff coordination (travel, defined attire, roles and responsibility assignments), speaking engagements, and show lead follow-up 
• Ensure marketing qualified leads are uploaded into the marketing funnel for post-event outreach campaigns  
• Identify new opportunities for industry-relevant conferences for the organization to attend 
• Coordinate with stakeholders (marketing team members, executive campaigns, and industry experts) to conceptualize and deliver trade shows and/or events on time and on/below budget.  
• Work with vendors to deliver assets to events. Collaborate and select high profile positioning for visibility as a premium brand 

Executive Thought Leadership  

• Assist CEO Larry B. Jordan with social media brand, curating content that will leverage Larry's name as a thought leader in the industry 
• Host weekly knowledge extraction meetings with Wi-Tronix CEO Larry Jordan and discuss current industry events, trends, etc. 
• Curate social media content to post from Larry's personal LinkedIn account, including both new content and shared content. 
• Craft one long-form project per month, including a blog, webinar, podcast, etc. for Larry’s brand. This should include Larry and a guest of his choice from the industry which is the Marketing Analyst’s position to secure 
• Work with internal Wi-Tronix marketing team to market the event (if applicable) 

Written Communication 

• Curate a social media calendar for the Wi-Tronix brand, including LinkedIn and Facebook, and work with the Design Specialist to create correlating branded graphics/videos per post 
• Interview internal subject matter experts to create social media content, including new products/solutions, Wi-Tronix’s involvement at industry events, internal celebrations, and more 
• Work with Marketing Manager and Design Specialist to review customer-facing content for grammar and jargon, ensuring the text and tone are in the appropriate Wi-Tronix brand 

Personal Development 

• Develop and maintain depth of relevant Wi-Tronix domain knowledge, market, and competitive positioning 
• Commit to continuous learning and development of subject matter area 

Qualifications

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or 2 years equivalent work experience 
• 1 years of event planning/coordination experience 
• Excellent analytical and project management skills 
• An ability to multitask and perform under tight deadlines 
• An ability to research and synthesize information for use in strategic product decisions 
• Strong verbal and written communication skills 
• An efficiency mindset demonstrated through processes and tools ideas and experience 

• An agile mindset and the willingness to apply agile concepts to the sales process  
• A background in working with agile development processes, a plus 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Working conditions as found in a typical office or a remote office location 
• Ability to travel about 10% domestically and internationally 

This position's anticipated base salary range is 50,800 to 69,800 annually. Final compensation will be based on experience, qualifications, and location.
