Description
Status: Seasonal, Full-Time, Non-Exempt.
Responsibility: High level of supervision needed. Low level of operational decision making.
Reports to: Bell Captain or Front Desk Supervisor.

Effort: High-Must be able to lift up to 75lb and work standing up for long periods of time. Must be able to run to retrieve members’ cars during long shifts.
Work Conditions: Level 3- Half of the work is performed indoors, half outdoors, half of the work is performed in an air-conditioned environment, variable schedule based on business demands, some duties require working with hazards.
Duties:
- Work closely with the Front Desk Staff, Management and other Club departments in providing guests and members with positive first impressions, assistance with luggage, and miscellaneous needs.
- Greet all members and guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Use proper “rooming techniques” insuring that proper and accurate information is conveyed to each arriving member or guest.
- Be aware of all daily information including arrivals and departures, daily functions and all other Club information pertaining to Food and Beverage outlets, amenities and hours of operation.
- Clearly and accurately provide members and guests with directions to and from the Club as well as points of interest in the area.
- Provide luggage storage in accordance with the Club’s policies and procedures.
- Assist in opening car doors for arriving members and guests while introducing them to the Guest Reception Agent as required.
- Provide valet parking services for all members and guests.
- Assist the Reception Desk in the handling of mail, messages and faxes.
- Assist in the efficient handling of interdepartmental mail deliveries and pickups.
- Provide assistance to members and guests with photocopies, faxes, internet services, technology and other business services as required.
- Organize and assist with the delivery of guest room amenities and supplies as needed.
- Insure that the club’s vehicles are always clean, detailed and representative of the club.
- Complete all daily check lists and insure that all current requests are completed and followed up on.
- Sign in bell staff walkie talkie and keys to the proper area.
- Assist in answering the switchboard as needed.
- Insure that the entrance and Lobby are organized and clean.
- Maintain the inventory, cleanliness and organization of the bell staff supply area.
- Be familiar with all department heads and managers; their names, job titles, telephone extensions, office locations and areas of responsibility.
- Be familiar with emergency procedures and be prepared to handle emergency situations.
- Assist security and night cleaner in setting up and breaking down club functions as needed completing this process during optimum hours.
- Set up and break down of meeting rooms.
- Other related duties as assigned.
