WiBotic provides wireless power and charging systems for robots, drones, space, and industrial automation. Our goal is to help our customers cut the cord and power their autonomous fleets with our wireless power systems. We are a multi-disciplinary team of highly motivated engineers with strong batteries, wireless power, and robotics backgrounds.
Job Description
WiBotic is looking for a highly motivated mechanical engineer with experience in CAD design, rapid prototyping, electronics packaging, and sheet metal/plastics. The individual will work collaboratively with our Engineering team to develop, design, fabricate, and test enclosures for our wireless charging systems, charging docks, and future products. This position will also work with our sales and application engineering team to ensure the successful integration of WiBotic products into our customers' systems.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or other related fields of study.
- 3-7 years of experience in product design (power, industrial, consumer, medical, etc.)
- 3-7 years of experience with 3D CAD modeling and 2D drawing creation (SolidWorks)
- Experience working with electronics packaging, enclosures, and thermal design
- Highly motivated and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Proven right to work in the US
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with design for manufacturing and assembly (plastic injection molding, casting, sheet metal forming, CNC machining)
- Experience with rapid prototyping techniques and technologies
- CFD/CAE experience
- Experience with design for ingress protection
- Familiarity with electrical PCB design and understanding of electrical systems
- PDM (Solidworks PDM, Arena)
Job Details
Our office is located in the Northgate area of Seattle, WA.
We support a hybrid work schedule.
The base salary ranges from $90,000 to $150,000 per year, depending on experience.
