What You'll Be Doing (and Loving Every Minute of It):

This isn’t just a job, it’s a launchpad. You’ll be working shoulder-to-shoulder with seasoned economic development pros, business leaders, and community partners to turn vision into momentum. Here's how you'll make your mark:

• Dig deep into market research and data analysis—helping us understand trends, spot opportunities, and make data-informed decisions that lead to big wins.
• Connect with local businesses and entrepreneurs—learning what makes them tick and how we can help them soar.
• Roll up your sleeves to plan and support events, workshops, and initiatives that move our community forward.
• Keep us on track by supporting project logistics, meeting prep, and day-to-day coordination that keeps the gears turning.
• Assist with grant writing and proposal development to bring fresh resources into our region.
• Be part of shaping our future, helping with policy research and program ideas that spark smart growth.

What We’re Looking For:

You don’t need decades of experience, just the heart of a servant leader and a mind that’s hungry to learn. Here’s what will set you up for success:

• A degree in Economics, Business, Public Administration, Communications or a related field.
• A natural curiosity and analytical mindset—you enjoy diving into numbers and pulling out stories that matter.
• Top-notch communication skills—you can write clearly, speak confidently, and listen with purpose.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools—and a willingness to explore new tech that helps us work smarter.
• The ability to manage multiple projects, stay organized, and keep your eye on the ball.
• A proactive attitude and a can-do spirit that says, "Let’s figure it out."

Bonus Points If You Also Bring:

• Internship or volunteer experience in economic or community development.
• A basic understanding of GIS or mapping tools (or a desire to learn).
