Duties
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations.
- Load and unload items, ensuring that all products are handled with care.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including tracking orders and managing inventory.
- Communicate with customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations while on the road.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize delivery routes and improve efficiency.
- Utilize POS systems for order fulfillment and customer transactions.
- Assist in inventory management using CMMS tools as needed.
Skills
- Strong mathematical skills for retail math and order fulfillment processes.
- Excellent organizational abilities to manage multiple deliveries efficiently.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with customers and team members.
- Experience in sales management is a plus, enhancing customer interactions.
