What are the responsibilities and job description for the Radiology Tech Aide position at Wichita Radiological Group?
M - F 10am - 7pm or 11am - 8pm
Job Purpose: The Tech Aide is responsible for technical skills encompassing patient care and related tasks under the direction of a Physician. The Tech Aide works closely with patients and medical staff to ensure proper testing and use of equipment.
Essential Functions:
1. Delivers direct patient care to patients as assigned, using established procedures.
2. Records, documents and reports pertinent observations and patient reactions to staff, as appropriate; documents lab procedures and ensuring follow up on results.
3. Uses screening procedures, including medical history review, and observes and documents patient vital signs as required.
4. Maintains quality results by running standards and controls.
5. Verifies equipment function through routine equipment maintenance.
6. Calibrates equipment utilizing approved testing procedures.
7. Monitors quality control measures and protocols.
8. Assists with training of new technicians and coworkers.
9. Additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements:
1. High school diploma or equivalent required.
2. Accredited degree from a 2 year college or certificate preferred.
3. Completion of a medical technician program and certificate preferred.
4. Knowledge of healthcare regulations and preventative measures (HIPAA confidentiality, infection spread, etc.).

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
