Reports To: Director of Shocker Sports Grill & Lanes

Location: Rhatigan Student Center, 1845 Fairmount St. Wichita, KS

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION

Duties involve all phases involved in the production of products in the RSC Engraving Shop including order-taking, production and billing. Must demonstrate a strong commitment to service standards and customer focus.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate with Director and fellow employees to provide excellent customer service.
• Interacts with customers in a courteous, professional manner while taking orders as well as with communication during production.
• Designs customized and personalized gifts, awards, name badges and interior sign products using proprietary engraving software as well as Adobe Creative Suite and CorelDRAW.
• Responsible for ensuring orders are completed accurately and on time.
• Perform other related duties as required or assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty mentioned satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or GED required.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES

Required to use close as well as moderate distance vision and be able to focus. Work involves operation engraving, inkjet sublimation and lamination equipment as well as hand-held tools. Regularly required to talk and hear; frequently required to lift up to 40lbs, stand and bend at the knees and waist, and walk or stand for extended periods of time. Regular attendance is a necessary and essential function.

ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS

Exposed to moderate noise levels.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with teammates and guests. Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office- Word, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe Creative Suite. With training, proficiency with proprietary engraving design software is also required. Strong spelling skills and attention to detail.

Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service. Ability to work independently or in a team to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices. Good judgement, problem solving skills and decision making skills.
