What are the responsibilities and job description for the Patient Accounts/Coding Clerk position at Wichita Surgical Specialists?
Patient Accounts/Coding Clerk - Full-time, Monday to Friday. Gather hospital records, create and update patient record in EMR software. Assist Patient Accounts team with retro authorizations and collections follow-up. Scanning, faxing, data entry and other misc duties.
PHYSICAL & MISC REQUIREMENTS: Prefer health insurance and EMR experience. Requires frequent amounts of time sitting and working at a computer, some walking, scanning, data entry. Requires organizational skills and confidentiality. Requires high school diploma.
