What are the responsibilities and job description for the Surgery Scheduler/Medical Assistant position at Wichita Surgical Specialists?
Medical Assistant/Surgery Scheduler - Full time position Monday-Friday. Primary duties include scheduling tests, procedures, surgeries at appropriate facility. Coordinates between patients, facilities and physicians. Maintains accurate patient records. May assist in loading & cleaning rooms, vitals, instrument sterilization, charting. Prior medical office experience with computerized scheduling is preferred. Medical terminology and health insurance knowledge is helpful.
