The Graphic Designer will be accountable for managing the various graphic arts needs of the brewery. The primary goal is help us get our message to consumers. This position is a business partner for many facets, taking direction and interpreting that direction into images, layouts, and other designs. The Graphic Designer has an insightful understanding of their role’s impact on the marketing goals and campaign execution. This position must thrive in a fast-paced environment and balance multiple projects, ranging from relatively easy to long-term in nature.              

Daily Duties, Functions, Responsibilities 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide design support for the marketing department, including social media assets, retail merchandise, commercial marketing assets, in-market murals, and a variety of marketing campaigns.  
• Assist in the development and maintenance of design brand guidelines. 
• Ensures consistency between projects to achieve overall messaging goals.  
• Ensure all graphics align with overall company goals and vision. 
• Work closely with the Brand Manager to ensure appropriate approvals of all design proofs. 

2025 Performance Indicators (KPI’s)

·        2025 Brand Book Revision 

·        All commercial assets created to deadlines 

·        Successful commercial campaign execution 

·        Impactful brand launches through multi-faceted asset creation

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

·        Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principals involved in production of digital and print assets. 

·        Skillful at clearly and effectively presenting ideas or designs to a group of people.  

·        Excellent communication and collaboration skills. 

·        Creative Visionary: You possess a talent for conjuring up innovative concepts and bringing them to life through visually striking designs. 

·        Robust portfolio demonstrating expertise in typography, layout, and visual hierarchy. 

·        Masterful Artistry and Precision: Your work is a testament to your meticulous attention to detail and an unwavering commitment to impeccable craftsmanship. 

·        Exceptional work ethic, with a focused passion for the alcohol/beer industry. Working knowledge of craft beer preferred.  

·        Program proficiency in Adobe Systems: Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, emerging design technology and Microsoft Office preferred. Proficiency with AI algorithms, models, and software integration to create and edit graphic design projects.  

·        Preferred, not required, proficient in developing 3D CAD renderings through the use of Adobe Systems, Procreate software, Blender 3D visualizer and building files to integrate with Torchmate.  

·        Preferred, not required, proficient with motion graphic design.

Education and/or Experience:

·        Bachelor’s Degree in Design, Visual Communications, Marketing, Advertising, or related field preferred 

·        3 years of professional print and digital design experience preferred. 

·        3 years of experience in CPG sales & marketing. Experience in the beer/alcohol industry is preferred 

·        Analytical problem solver who can collaborate over cross-functional teams, prioritize, and make decisions, while maintaining an excellent attention to detail and consistency to creative guidelines 

·        Excellent organization, project management, communication and presentation skills 

·        Ability to articulate the creative execution of multiple channels; package design (can labels, bottle labels, cartons, marketing channels: social media, photo, digital, film/video, print etc. to meet business objectives 

·        Demonstrated understanding of customer base and familiarity with company product assortment 

·        Strong work ethic, flexibility, and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Work Environment:

• The work environment is usually that of a high-stress, fast-paced restaurant.
• The employee frequently must work in a sanitary environment.
• The employee regularly works around high voltage, flame, hot liquids, and steam.
• The employee frequently must work in an environment with a moderate to high noise level.

Physical Demands:

·        Conducts work in a sitting position primarily; however, job requires walking, bending, stooping, and lifting.  

·        Office environment with long periods of time at a computer station.  

·        Able to travel and install indoor and outdoor murals. Physical requirements include lifting, climbing, operating at heights.
