What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Assistant position at Wickford Appliance Inc?
Our Pawtucket Showroom Team is growing and therefore we’re looking to, immediately hire, and add a Full-Time Sales Assistant!

Responsibilities include, yet are not limited to: Greeting customers as they enter the store, qualifying them and pairing with a sales consultant to assist with purchase/shopping experience; Assisting the Sales Consultants with processing orders, scheduling delivery & installations; Checking for accuracy & Reviewing orders; Extensive communication via phone within the company and answering/directing customer inquiries; Processing financing; Entry level inventory processing.
Qualified Applicant should possess excellent customer service, ability to multi-task, well-organized and communication skills. Proficiency in computers, using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook email. Training on appliances is provided.
This is a Monday through Saturday position, with a day off during the week; We are Closed on Sundays. The position will be scheduled with 38-40 hours, weekly and may require (1) night a week. This is considered an entry level position with growth opportunities.
Medical benefits are available. As is a 401k with company matching. Some paid holidays as well as PTO & Sick time available to you, on an accrual basis once minimum weekly hours are met. Pay is weekly.
