Wholegoods Inventory Manager

The Wholegoods Inventory Manager manages the dealership’s new and used equipment inventory. This person will oversee all wholegoods equipment orders for the company’s five Colorado locations and have a solid understanding of the entire sales process of an equipment dealership. They will be involved with order entry, tracking, receiving, and following the unit to the time of sale. They will also be responsible for valuing and reconditioning of used equipment.
The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who can work independently as required. This person will have a love for data, analytics, and trends. Ultimately, the goal is to ensure the company’s assets are appropriately accounted for and optimized to increase sales. You must be organized, precise, and devoted to producing quality work.

Key Responsibilities:
- Work daily with the Director of Marketing & Asset Management to manage all whole good equipment inventory for the five dealership locations.
- Place orders for new whole goods equipment from a multitude of manufacturers, including Kubota, Case IH, Polaris, and Can-Am.
- Value used equipment on a daily basis that the salesman is looking at for trade.
- Analyze current inventory position against future needs to ensure a proper equipment pipeline for projected sales.
- Review manufacture invoices daily and add units into the inventory system.
- Ensure inventory is located at the optimal locations and work with the service/rental department staff to relocate equipment.
- Expected to complete a monthly inventory audit at all five dealership locations.
- Maintain relationships with suppliers for future business growth.
- In coordination with the sales professionals, manage customer pre-sell list for equipment and deposits.
- Participate in manufacture sales training to understand all the equipment the dealership sells.
- Attend dealership sales meetings to give regular updates on the status of equipment inventory and inventory targeted to be moved.
- Work with the marketing department on opportunities to assist in retailing in-stock inventory.
Requirements:
- Advanced computer skills, including Excel, Teams, email, and database software.
- Ability to perform outdoor tasks: monthly inventory audits, assisting with inventory movement on lots.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with the sales team, WTC employees, and customer
- Valid Driver’s License and insurability in accordance with the insurance carrier requirements for company vehicle use.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Business degree preferred.
- 1 years’ experience in an inventory management-related role.
- Knowledge of database software and computer application systems.
- Proficient in standard desktop applications such as Microsoft Office and Internet functions.
Training:
- Professional enhanced product knowledge and training provided by manufacturers and mentors to gain understanding and further develop skills and expertise.

Compensation Package:
- $55,000 - $75,000. Based on experience and qualifications.
