About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Bilingual Safety Manager to lead and enhance our company-wide safety initiatives. In this role, you will be responsible for driving a safety-first culture, improving communication and ensuring compliance with OSHA, DOT, EPA, and other regulatory bodies. You will also oversee a growing safety team, with opportunities to expand your leadership as the company scales.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance and risk mitigation.
• Lead efforts in fall protection, workers’ compensation claims, and accident reporting.
• Provide safety training and coaching to frontline employees and leadership.
• Shift the company’s safety approach from a policing mindset to a consultative, proactive safety culture.
• Conduct job site visits (~50% of the time) to monitor and reinforce safety best practices.
• Maintain and improve the company’s safety manual in both English and Spanish.
• Oversee incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective action implementation.
• Ensure proper documentation and tracking of safety incidents, training, and compliance audits.
• Manage fleet safety programs, including driver monitoring and coaching based on performance data.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) required.
• Background in Construction, Roofing, or Solar industries.
• Strong experience in workers’ compensation claims management & reporting.
• Ability to develop and implement effective safety procedures.
• A coaching-oriented approach to train and empower teams.
• Experience working with leadership to embed safety into daily operations.
• Preferred certifications: OSHA, CPR, First Aid, Forklift.
