About the Role
This position is responsible for leading the Dining Services team in providing exceptional dining experiences for our Residents. The successful candidate will have excellent leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement menu plans that meet the nutritional needs of our Residents.
- Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation.
- Coordinate with vendors to source high-quality ingredients and supplies.
- Manage inventory and ordering processes to ensure timely delivery of food and supplies.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and resident satisfaction.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary degree or certification preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in food service management, preferably in a senior living setting.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and point-of-sale systems.
- Familiarity with state and federal regulations governing food service and senior living.
