Job Summary
The Dining Services Director 1 oversees the daily operations of the Dining Services department, ensuring that Residents receive exceptional dining experiences. This position requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a role model for excellence in customer service and quality food preparation.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with Residents, families, and staff.
- Monitor and improve food quality, presentation, and service standards.
- Coach and develop staff to achieve performance goals and objectives.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Supervisory experience in a food service setting recommended.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and point-of-sale systems.
- Familiarity with state and federal regulations governing food service and senior living.
