What are the responsibilities and job description for the Parks Janitorial Maintenance position at Wicomico County?
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The Part-Time Maintenance staff member cleans and sanitizes the bathrooms in the Park System and collects trash in the Parks on Weekends and Holidays. Shifts will consist of 1-3 staff members per shift and shifts will generally be from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. - noon each Saturday, Sunday, and Holidays. This position will be active April 1st -November 1st 2025 (10 to 12 hours/week).
Special Requirements
- Must be available every weekend morning from April 1st to November 1st;
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and a good driving record are a must
- Experience driving a F150 truck and pulling a 12 foot landscape trailer is helpful but not required; and
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening.
