What are the responsibilities and job description for the Seasonal Park Ranger position at Wicomico County?
The Park Rangers patrol County Parks and Facilities to ensure patrons are following Park rules, securing Park Facilities at dusk, and providing customer service to those patrons. Hours per shift will vary depending on the season but generally are 3 hours in length, ending at dark each day.
Requirements:
- Good public relations skills and the desire to be around people.
- Ability to learn and understand the rules and regulations.
- Ability to successfully complete mandatory training provided.
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
- Ability to work late afternoon/evening hours.
- Ability to work weekends on a rotating schedule afternoon/evening.
Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 per week
