What are the responsibilities and job description for the Youth Worker position at WICS Home for Girls?
Work with adolescent females (12yo-18yo) in a group home setting teaching and role modeling. WICS is a home that is designed for personal growth, accountability and is a highly structured program. We aid youth placed in our care by the State of Nebraska or Juvenile Probation who have experienced a family crisis, behavioral/emotional challenges, drug/alcohol abuse, and require staff to use a trauma-informed lense.
Staff are:
-All female due to Nebraska child care regulations
-21 years of age or older due to Nebraska child care regulations
-Have a minimum of a high school education
-Have a strong service background and/or life experience
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Per diem
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 32 per week
