What are the responsibilities and job description for the Foreman or Lead Cabinet Builder position at Wide Angle Marketing?
We have a position open for a Foreman and also a Lead Cabinet Maker at our production millwork shop. The cabinetmaker works from specifications and architectural drawings, and is responsible to set up and operate saws, joiners, planers, molders and other woodworking equipment to create custom cabinets, furniture and millwork to exacting quality standards.
Requirements include:
- 2 - 5 years' experience as a Foreman in a millwork or metal shop.
- Lead Cabinet Maker would be 5 years as a cabinet maker
- Ablity to read shop prints and engineer projects with the team.
- Mechanically inclined individual who likes to work with his / her hands.
- Thorough understanding of woodworking techniques.
- Experience with both melamine and laminate.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Excellent measurement and math skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to work independently and with our team.
- Valid driver's license preferred.
