Key Responsibilities:
- Assess construction deficiencies at multi-family properties, identifying necessary improvements to ensure code compliance and alignment with minimum property standards.
- Prepare detailed scopes of work to address property issues as requested by management, ensuring all necessary repairs and improvements are clearly outlined.
- Collaborate with supervisors to provide accurate cost estimates for damages, ensuring customers receive precise information. Complete all required forms for a comprehensive bid package and adhere to the customer’s scope of work.
- Conduct on-site inspections with clients, sales representatives, and insurance adjusters to prepare detailed repair estimates using Xactimate in a timely and professional manner.
- Communicate effectively and negotiate settlements with insurance adjusters to ensure fair outcomes for clients.
- Serve as a liaison between the adjuster, client, and sales team to ensure smooth communication throughout the project.
- Offer expert guidance to the sales team during contract negotiations related to insurance claims, leveraging your knowledge of the insurance industry.
- Provide detailed scopes of work to the operations team and assist with accurate hard cost estimates to ensure smooth project execution.
- Work closely with office staff to ensure all necessary documentation is completed and provided during each phase of the bidding process.
- Help provide accurate information to support the invoicing process and ensure timely billing.
- Stay knowledgeable about materials, methods, and tools used in the construction and repair of multi-family properties. Understand multi-family construction drawings and specifications.
- Be familiar with methods for calculating material quantities and labor requirements for construction projects.
Requirements:
- Construction experience required, with multi-family experience preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with staff, contractors, and customers.
- Ability to maintain cooperative and collaborative relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel as required.
- Experience with construction management software such as NAV, ProCore, or Sage is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) is required.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to work with diverse subcontractors.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.
Salary : $110,000 - $125,000
