Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and trustworthy Controller to manage our financial operations efficiently. This role is responsible for overseeing bookkeeping, maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with local and state regulations, and coordinating with our accountant for tax filings and financial reporting. The ideal candidate is highly organized, experienced in QuickBooks, and capable of balancing accounts with precision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle all bookkeeping tasks, including data entry, account reconciliation, and financial reporting.
- Process and submit payroll accurately using QuickBooks.
- Maintain financial records in compliance with local, state, and federal requirements.
- Prepare and balance accounts, ensuring financial accuracy and integrity.
- Communicate with the company’s accountant to facilitate tax filings and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Monitor financial transactions and provide insights to support business decisions.
- Assist with budgeting, expense tracking, and financial forecasting.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or financial management.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
- Strong knowledge of local and state financial regulations.
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
