What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Engineer position at Wide Effect Talent Solutions?

Skills and Experience Requirements :

Licensed Professional Engineer in Wisconsin (or eligibility for license transfer to Wisconsin)
Minimum of 4 years of engineering experience
Proficiency in HydroCAD or equivalent software
Proficiency in WinSLAMM or equivalent software
Skilled in AutoCAD Civil 3D
Strong project management capabilities
Excellent client communication skills
Competence in plan production and site, utility, and road design
Ability to conduct surveys and perform construction inspections

Duties & Responsibilities :

Maintain regular communication with team members to ensure project milestones are met efficiently and accurately

Participate in project pre-planning activities

Create and manage base mapping for projects

Develop site plans, layouts, and grade designs

Prepare complete drawings and specifications using AutoCAD, HydroCAD, and similar tools

Design utility and stormwater systems

Prepare cost estimates and conduct plan reviews

Oversee project delivery and adherence to timelines

Attend project meetings, including occasional public meetings held in the evening

Perform construction inspections as required

Collaborate with the survey department to coordinate survey and engineering project phases
