What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Electrical Engineer position at Wide Effect Talent Solutions?

Major Responsibilities:
- Create concept sketches, layouts, and specifications as needed.
- Design products, improve existing designs, and conduct test analysis, while coordinating with production and service teams.
- Develop electrical circuits using embedded control modules, I/O, and sensors; create component/control specifications and engineering documentation.
- Provide performance analysis, schedules, and cost information as required.
- Report on progress, feasibility, and concept studies.
- Assist in creating manuals and sales materials for projects.
- Collaborate with other teams within the Product Engineering department.
- Ensure all job functions are performed safely and complete necessary safety training within required timelines.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
- 3–5 years of engineering experience, including electrical design.
- Experience with 3-D modeling software.
- Familiarity with I/O modules (analog and digital inputs/outputs, PWM).
- Hands-on experience with test equipment (volt/current meters, oscilloscopes, data acquisition tools).
- Strong communication skills for engaging with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience with tools such as PCAN for CAN data analysis.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Experience with off-highway/construction equipment.
- Pro Engineer Wildfire 3.0 and Creo preferred.
- PE License is a plus.
- Experience with CANOpen messaging structure and Creo Schematic is a plus.
Salary : $100,000 - $130,000
