Field Service Manager

Responsibilities:

• Foster a culture focused on safety, exceptional customer service, technical excellence, and adherence to quality standards within the Fiber Optic Installation team.
• Oversee and complete quality control checks to ensure high standards are consistently met.
• Conduct and document field safety observations to maintain a secure work environment.
• Provide guidance and support to the Installation Technician team, ensuring they have the tools and resources needed to succeed.
• Address and resolve customer and technical issues while proactively preventing potential escalations.
• Build positive employee relations through clear and effective individual and team communication.
• Monitor and mentor team members in areas such as safety, quality, productivity, customer service, and overall well-being.
• Ensure Fiber Optic Installation Technicians have access to and maintain necessary tools, equipment, and vehicles.
• Promote cross-functional collaboration with internal departments and external service providers to streamline operations.
• Educate team members on company products, services, and performance expectations.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Advanced understanding of TCP/IP protocols.
• In-depth knowledge of network designs, architectures, and technologies.
• 3 years of experience as a Fiber Optic Installation Technician with a track record of managing teams.
• Proficiency in data analytics and reporting.
• Strong familiarity with various hand tools (battery-powered and non-battery powered).
• Associate's degree in electronics or a related field, or equivalent work experience (preferred).
• Supervisory experience in a technical environment (preferred).
