Position is in MAINE- Must be Willing to Travel to Maine. $150 per diem on days worked. $35 / hr. $36 / hr if you have NCCER in Instrumentation.

Must pass a written test upon arrival.

Overview of Primary Duties :

  • Plan layout and installation based on instructions or work requirements using drawings, blueprints, sketches, and manuals.
  • Measure, thread, cut, and assemble cable tray and support systems.
  • Install tubing and clamps into cable tray systems.
  • Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble, and install tubing and piping.
  • Coordinate and plan daily work with limited supervision.
  • Perform related tasks as assigned.
  • Use hand, hydraulic, and power tools.
  • Drill and tap holes in structures and attach brackets, guards, and other components following drawings.
  • Operate man lifts, scissor lifts, overhead cranes, band saws, hose cutting / crimping devices, pressure pumps, and hydraulic pumping units as needed.
  • Inspect and maintain tools.

Safety Responsibilities and Expectations :

  • Refuse unsafe work and ensure all work complies with established safety procedures and practices.
  • Report incidents, near hits, and hazards to management.
  • Wear and maintain personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Notify coworkers of hazardous situations.
  • Participate in workplace inspections.
  • Comply with statutory requirements and demonstrate a commitment to safety.
  • Attend and contribute to pre-start and safety meetings.
  • Complete required training sessions.
  • Offer suggestions for safety improvements.

    • Requirements :

  • Proficiency in reading ISO’s, blueprints, and P&IDs.
  • Ability to read and interpret instructions and independently document, plan, and perform work activities.
  • Responsibilities and job requirements may vary depending on experience.
  • Personal hand tools required for the craft as established by company standards.
  • Successful completion of required safety training, including but not limited to Confined Space, LOTO (Lockout / Tagout), and Working at Heights.
