Responsibilities :
- Execute required estimating processes, including sourcing appropriate suppliers and subcontractors.
- Conduct quantity survey work to assess material and labor requirements.
- Interpret bid requests and related bidding documents.
- Gather, calculate, and compile quantity surveys and associated data for accurate estimates and bid submissions.
- Prepare routine estimates for trade work following the company’s standardized format.
- Conduct preliminary project scheduling and assess project durations.
- Oversee comprehensive bid preparation, ensuring accuracy with bid form requirements.
- Utilize cost histories and coding systems to inform accurate estimates.
- Provide estimating support to the Vice President of Estimating.
- Perform conceptual estimating and budgeting tasks as needed.
