We are seeking an experienced leader to fill the role of Assistant Director of Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing Systems at Widener University. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of all university buildings and systems, as well as developing and implementing effective maintenance programs to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and direct the maintenance and repair of all MEP equipment and systems.
- Develop and implement effective maintenance schedules and procedures to minimize downtime and maximize resource utilization.
- Collaborate with contractors and vendors to negotiate contracts and ensure high-quality service delivery.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering preferred. A combination of training and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- 7 years progressively responsible facilities management experience
