No 3rd parties or visa sponsorships.Job description : WideNet Consulting is seeking an IT Project Manager to manage multiple IT infrastructure, assessment, system upgrade and / or system implementation projects. The projects require a pragmatic and flexible style of project management, coupled with the ability to effectively develop and manage from a project plan in a hybrid agile / predictive project management environment. Excellent communication, coordination, facilitation and organizational skills will be essential for success. Strong technical writing skills are required to develop project documentation including requirements, assessment documents, training materials, policy and procedure documents, RFP’s, test scripts, communication plans, etc.The projects managed will be diverse with an emphasis on IT Infrastructure, GIS systems, cybersecurity, and data processing development projects.Below are some of the projects that are likely to be managed by this position : IT Infrastructure OptimizationCybersecurity Program initiatives to address prior audit findingsPlanning and coordination of Disaster Recovery testingSupporting Business Continuity Planning EffortsCloud Data and Reporting ImprovementsEsri GIS Mapping ImprovementsPrivate wireless (5G) assessmentCloud based security video management assessmentBelow are some expected deliverables for this role : Projects successfully delivered to agreed scope, schedule and budgetPlan and implement communication, change management, roll-out, and training activitiesEffectively communicate and manage project risks and issuesProduce project management documentation, including charters, WBS, status reports, budgets, project logs, etc.Other technical artifacts, including procedure documents, requirements documents, assessment documents, training materials, etc.Other items identified as part of implementing the projectsRequired : A minimum of five years of experience with IT project management, primarily managing IT Infrastructure, COTS and SaaS system implementation, upgrade, and enhancements projects utilizing vendor and in-house project resourcesExperience and skilled at writing technical documentation. Documentation will include project management deliverables and artifacts including project charters, test plans, test cases, project requirement documentation, training documentation, budget / cost tracking, and status reportsExcellent communication and collaboration skills will be essential for success, including the ability to work effectively with technical, business, and management resources at both the Company and with vendors.Must possess the ability to translate complex requirements and technical language between technical and non-technical stakeholdersExperience in planning and managing projects in a hybrid predictive / agile environment with a mix of remote and on-site team membersVendor management, including managing vendor relationships, accountability and deliverables working closely with vendor Project Managers to coordinate project tasks, dependencies and deliverables.Must possess a flexible, patient, collaborative and creative approach, and be able and willing to assist outside of their core role to help the team deliver results and overcome ambiguous circumstances and roadblocksBe focused on end-users needs and be energetic and passionate in helping them adopt new ways of working and new toolsBe a “doer” with a bias toward actionExperienced and proficient at working with the MS suite of Office and MS365 solutions including : Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Planner, Project for the Web, Visio, SharePoint, and TeamsFamiliarity with GIS, Cybersecurity, and Database conceptsDesired : PMI PMP and / or ACP Certification highly desiredDesired experience with Esri GIS systems, cybersecurity, Azure implementations, Power BI, and Azure Data solutions4-year college degree is desiredProsci ADKAR Change Practitioner or other Organizational Change Management certification desiredPrior experience in a business analysis role and performing systems assessments is desiredStrong SharePoint experience is desired, including editing Site Pages, using / creating / modifying Lists and LibrariesExperience with public agency procurement practices and managing projects at a government agency is desiredPay Range : $70.00 – $75.00 per hour, depending upon experience.Health & Medical Benefits, 401K, Employee Assistance Program, and Sick Time applicable by state.
