The Channel Sales Manager position is responsible for directly interfacing with assigned and prospective agent partners to ensure the achievement of budgeted sales volumes in assigned territory.

What you'll be doing :
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following but are not limited to :
Responsible for territory sales volume and quota on a monthly basis through indirect sales channelProvides weekly sales forecastingPerform ad hoc analysis / reporting as neededWeekly Sales & Funnel reporting for Sales Organization.Provides pricing, solution design and quotes to agents in assigned territoryParticipates and drives hosted partner / channel eventsResponsible for interfacing with assigned agent partners for the purpose of growing the business relationship and achieving the budgeted sales volumesContinually educates and trains Agents on WOW! Business and Residential Service products and servicesManages defined revenue and volume objectives for each PartnerMonitors key sales operational tactics and metrics as defined by leadership teamContributes to the budgeting, forecasting, and annual planning process to assure sufficient resources are available to meet outlined objectivesGathers and distributes industry information including competitive information to ensure team is aware of key industry trends and changesEstablishes and manages prospecting activities and tracking systemsActs as a point of contact for Agents' to field all questions and concernsOther related duties as assignedWhat YOU need is :

Education :
Bachelor's degree in Business or related field, or the equivalent in training and experienceExperience / Skills Needed :
5 or more years in professional sales and marketing, specifically selling telecom servicesKnowledge of the telecommunications industry through direct or indirect work experienceDemonstrated knowledge of voice and data productsAbility to support a team of sales professionalsAbility to deliver presentations to large and small groupsStrong analytical skillsExcellent analytical skills, with data mining skills a plusUnderstanding of key performance indicators for telecommunications industry a plusManagement experience within telecomAbility to work with confidential information in a professional mannerAbility to work with, and in, a team environmentComputer Skills :
Knowledge of basic software protocols from a general perspective would be a plus. Intermediate to advanced Word processing skills, Power Point, Excel spreadsheets, email and Internet experience required. Some knowledge of Accounting and General Ledger software preferred.Proficiency with word processing, presentation and spreadsheet software; Internet software and emailAbility to learn new software systems and access online support / toolsPhysical Demands / Working Conditions :
