Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive examinations and diagnostic tests for pets
- Diagnose and treat medical conditions and diseases in animals
- Develop treatment plans for patients and communicate recommendations to pet owners
- Administer vaccinations and preventative treatments
- Conduct surgical procedures as needed
- Monitor the health and well-being of hospitalized patients
- Provide client education on pet care, nutrition, and health management
- Work collaboratively with our team of technicians and support staff to provide exceptional care
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with all regulations and standards
- DVM or equivalent degree from an accredited veterinary school
- Active veterinary license in the state of California
- Experience in a clinical setting, with strong skills in veterinary medicine and surgery
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle emergency situations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with team members and pet owners
- Strong commitment to animal welfare and providing high-quality care
- Proficient with veterinary software and electronic medical records
- Team-oriented with a collaborative approach to patient care
- Willingness to continue education and stay current with veterinary advancements
- Ability to work weekends onsite from our facility in Sherman Oaks, CA
