Operator Furnace
Duties And Responsibilities
- Observe all safety rules and wear appropriate PPE, where required. Report all safety incidents, unsafe acts and conditions.
- Loads boats and places boats into furnace
- Unloads boats
- Maintain temperature of furnaces with pyrometer
- Maintains records of furnace temperature and furnace production
- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance on furnaces
- Perform other related duties as assigned

Skills/Knowledge Required
- Must be able to read and write
- Good interpersonal skills and able to work in a team environment
- Basic Mathematical Skills
- Record Keeping Skills
- Must be able to use both hands at the same time while pushing, pulling, twisting bending, lifting, stooping, and walking
- Must be able to work for long periods, while standing
- Must have good eye/hand coordination with all physical movements well coordinated
- Moderate Dust
- Must be able to lift up to 33 pounds
- Potential strains, pinch points, and lacerations
- Hot Surfaces
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of one year experience working in a manufacturing environment
