Wieland Designs Inc. is seeking a skilled Industrial Sewing Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent sewing skills and be able to follow verbal and written instructions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate customer quality expectations and apply them to product construction.
- Understand and apply Wieland Designs Production Systems (WDPS) terms such as Takt Time, Operator Cycle Time, Standard Work, etc.
- Properly operate industrial sewing machines according to company requirements and standards.
Requirements:
- Demonstrate basic sewing skills and/or aptitude through a sewing assessment.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instruction.
- Dependability in work performance and attendance.
Physical Environment:
- Consistent low noise level from sewing machines.
- Small airborne dust particles created from handling cloth fabrics.
- Department is not air conditioned.
