- Physical Demands: Must be able to stand 8-10 hours per day and operate industrial sewing machines. Repetitive movements required with arms grasping material with hands while operating industrial sewing machine. Must have good visual ability in order to determine straight seam lines and make color distinctions on various fabric and materials. Must be able to lift 8-10 pounds consistently, and occasionally 20 pounds.
- Work Environment: Consistent low noise level from sewing machines. Small airborne dust particles created from handling cloth fabrics. Department is not air conditioned. Must be able to work in a non-air conditioned production plant.
