Wieland is hiring a Shipping and Warehouse Clerk. The Shipping and Warehouse Clerk will be responsible for performing all finished goods warehouse job responsibilities in accordance with set standards and company policy. This role is located in Lake Zurich, IL and will be fully on-site.
Starting Pay: $20
Schedule: 7:00 am - 3:30 pm
Pay Schedule: Weekly
Responsibilities
Shipping and Warehouse Clerk Responsibilities:
- Pick and label finished goods boxes
- Stack and load product on trailers and skids
- Operate forklifts, manual and electric pallet jacks, lift tables, overhead cranes
- Communicate with other warehouse persons, saw department personnel and customer service
- Efficiently stage product in and out of warehouse locations
- Use Vantage as a tool for inventory adjustments, inventory location, inventory inquiries, label production and order transactions
- Read and prepare all forms and reports pertaining to the shipment of products
- Communicates packaging inventory level to Lead
- Follows packaging instructions listed on job router
- Participate in production department housekeeping
Shipping and Warehouse Clerk Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Prior manufacturing experience in a job shop preferred
- Trained and licensed in operation of forklift
