We are seeking a dedicated and professional Front Desk Receptionist to join our dental specialty team. Duties
- Greet patients warmly as they arrive at the clinic and ensure a welcoming atmosphere.
- Manage phone calls with excellent phone etiquette, addressing inquiries and scheduling appointments efficiently.
- Perform insurance verification to ensure patient coverage and assist with any necessary documentation.
- Maintain accurate health information management by updating patient records.
- Utilize computerized systems for scheduling, billing, and patient management.
- Handle clerical tasks including filing, data entry, and maintaining organized records to support clinic operations.
- Collaborate with dental staff to ensure smooth patient flow and provide necessary information for treatment procedures.
- Potential opportunity to cross-train with dental assistants for position growth.
Experience
- Previous experience as a dental receptionist or in a similar role within a healthcare setting is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with dental terminology, insurance processes, and health information management systems is preferred but not required.
- Proficiency in using computerized systems for managing patient information and scheduling appointments is essential.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff alike with a positive attitude.
- A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA regulations is required.
