What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pastry Prep Cook position at Wife and the Somm?
We are looking for a dedicated prep cook with pastry experience to join our team. Professionals need only apply. Working along side our Executive Chef and our Sous Chef to manage organization of the kitchen & efficiently prepping product for service. We are looking for a self starter who can execute.
The Wife is looking for someone to execute her homemade recipes, and is open to allowing you to put your own dessert on the menu. This is a great opportunity for anyone that wants to be creative, impact a menu and work in a strong team environment.
While the starting pay is $18-$22 an hour plus tips based on experience, the ideal candidate who shows initiative, drive and creativity will be eligible for a raise based upon merit.
We are a small team and a truly independent restaurant looking for people who want to grow with us and take our neighborhood spot to the next level. This is a unique opportunity for the right person. The owners are hands on, and work the floor every shift. Our menu is seasonal, both with food and wine, which gives our employees the chance to always be learning something new. We also encourage all members of our team both FOH and BOH to meet our wine reps and taste and learn about the wines we select.
