What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Restaurant Manager position at Wig Properties LLC?
We are seeking to hire an Assistant Restaurant Manager for the Hilton Bellevue. As the Assistant Restaurant Manager at Solarium Kitchen Bar, you would be responsible for assisting management in the direction and administration of a restaurant in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
Duties Include:
- Supervise, support, schedule, assign daily work, inform and train team members in all restaurant activities and operations
- Monitor, observe and assist in evaluating team member performance
- Support and assist team members in handling guest inquiries and requests, and in resolving guest complaints
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards
- Manage and monitor product quality and service and satisfaction trends, evaluate and address issues and make improvements accordingly
- Assist in monitoring inventory and inventory control
- Communicate and delegate tasks to the team
- Ensure compliance of brand standards
- Assist with social media marketing
- Manage guest queries in a timely and efficient manner
- Assist Food and Beverage management with achieving financial targets
- Assist Food and Beverage management with training and development of team members
- Assist with annual and mid-year appraisals with team members under your responsibility
- Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation
- Assist other departments wherever necessary and maintain good working relationships
Qualifications include:
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays
- 1 years supervisory experience
- 2 years full-service restaurant experience as a server and/or bartender
- Previous hotel experience preferred, but not required
- Thorough knowledge of restaurant operations, including bar, In-room Dining and to-go operations
- At least 21 years of age
- Current Food Handlers and MAST permit, or willing to obtain one within 14 days of hire
