What are the responsibilities and job description for the Banquet Houseperson/Set Up - Hilton Bellevue position at Wig Properties LLC?
Position Duties Include:
- Set up tables, chairs, staging, dance floor, other equipment according to the room diagram and event resumes.
• Assist with setting of banquet tables for a full service meal. Quickly clearing dirty banquet table settings.
• Safely deliver carts of dirty dishes/flatware/glasses to kitchen for washing.
• Tear down equipment and supplies after events are over
• Maintain cleanliness in event spaces, including hallways and common area
• Keep service corridors and storage areas clean, organized and unobstructed.
• Read and understand room diagrams and event resumes in order to set up event spaces
• Interact with other staff and event planners and respond quickly to their needs / requests
• Other duties as assigned by management Requirements:
Position Qualifications Include:
- At least 18 years of age or older
- The ability to read English, and understand written instructions
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Previous Banquet and/or hotel experience preferred, but not required
- Ability to frequently lift/push/pull/carry up to 60lbs with or without accommodation
