What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hotel Laundry & Houseperson = Red Lion Bellevue position at Wig Properties LLC?
The Red Lion Hotel Bellevue is currently seeking a Houseperson in our Housekeeping department. As a House Person, you will be responsible for restocking, cleaning and maintaining designated areas of the hotel, and responding to guest requests in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.
Position Duties:
- Assisting Room Attendants in removal of items such as soiled linen and towels from guest rooms.
- Delivery of items required by Room Attendants to service guest rooms.
- Cleans public areas to include, but not limited to cleaning and maintaining of guest room corridors, This may include vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, waxing, scrubbing, wiping and dusting.
- Participates in the scheduled general cleaning of guest rooms.
- Assist with guest requests pre-arrival as well as in-house guests.
- Reports maintenance requests to insure public areas comply with brand standards.
Position Qualifications:
- At least 18 years of age or older
- Must have the ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
- Previous housekeeping and/or hotel experience preferred, but not required
- Ability to frequently lift/push/pull up to 50lbs with or without accommodation
