Job Overview
The Assistant Director of Marketing and Business Development-Litigation is a key role within our firm, responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing plans that drive business growth and enhance our reputation. This position works closely with lawyers, the marketing team, and other stakeholders to achieve these goals.
Main Responsibilities
- Develops and executes strategic marketing plans that reinforce business development priorities for assigned practice groups
- Manages internal and external resources to execute marketing activities, including presentations, RFP responses, thought leadership activities, and client relationship events
- Identifies speaking and authorship opportunities with professional and trade organizations
- Evaluates sponsorship and event opportunities and provides recommendations to practice groups and lawyers
- Analyzes competitors through marketing research
- Works with practice groups to coordinate assessments of emerging industry trends and issues to provide insights on service offerings
Requirements
This role requires a highly motivated and organized individual with a strong background in marketing and business development. The ideal candidate has a minimum of 6 years' experience in a professional services environment, preferably at a law firm. A bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field is preferred.
